THERMAL TREATMENTS IN TUSCANY

Terme of Venturina, located 5 km far from Borgo la Contessa, has a very ancient story. Just think that the first thermal establishment goes back to the Romans.
Opening Season from 10/05 until 31/10.
WATERS:
Terme of Venturina uses thermal waters from the two natural springs coming from its inside, with a temperature of 34°C (Canneto spring) and 45°C (Cratere spring).

Therapeutic indications:
The efficacy of the thermal treatment is totally recognized by our Wealth Minister, which from 1994, defined some kind of diseases curable inside thermal establishments.
The therapeutic properties of our waters and particularly indicated for the following diseases:

Respiratory apparatus diseases
Ear, nose and throat diseases
Bones and articulations diseases
Digesting canal diseases
Liver and biliar diseases
Skin diseases
Periferic vasculopatitis

Breathing treatments:
They consist in the introduction into the breath ways od thermal water divided in very small parts. It is possible to do four different treatments:
Warm-humid inhalation
Aerosol with fluent water
Ionic aerosol
Atomization

Idropinoterapia (drink)
It consists on the administration of thermal water as a drink with a therapeutic purpose. The water has to be drunk on medium warm, it has no taste or unlikely smell.
Usually the treatment  should be done in the morning before eating, or anyway far from meals, in order to favourite the assimilation of the water elements and to increase, as a consequence, the therapeutic effects.
