Water sports on the Tuscan Coast

The Costa degli Etruschi (Etruscan Coast) is an area of coastland that stretches for more than 90 km. It is part of the region of Tuscany and possesses the light, colours and aromas of the Mediterranean sea. It is a land where the sea plays the leading role.
The coastline has been awarded with many European blue Flags for its clean waters and quality of services. In fact the sea is crystal clear, abounding of fish, and the coast offers numerous facilities and services for visitors. The Long stretches of rocky coast are alternate with beaches of both fine and course sand.
There are plenty of green areas, in the pinewoods that border the beaches, and in the woods and parks situated on a short distance from the coast.
