FISHING IN THE TUSCAN ARCHIPELAG
Only on early booking it is possible to organize fishing excursions.
An expert and a sportive fishing champion will transmit you his passion…because in the sea there’ s a wonderful world, almost magical which can give you a thousand emotions, hard to describe but exciting if you will experience them. It seems almost impossible in a society like ours, you can have the possibility to enter in a new dimension like the one of the sea, in which order and harmony occupy the first place. In fact, sea fishing represents that means through which we can have a direct relationship with our beloved sea environment.
Offer number 1
Half day (usually six hours fishing)
Techniques that can be practiced: Line fishing, light drifting, giant tuna big game.
In this combination meal on board is not included.
Offer number 2
Daily exit
Techniques that can be done: line fishing, giant tuna big game, light drifting, line fishing in the open sea and fishing with special equipment for artificial bait.
Offer number 3
Full Immersion
It is about a fishing exit of a total of 18 hours as follows:
First day: departure from Piombino at about 5 PM to the fishing place. Night fishing and dinner on board.
Second day: breakfast and lunch on board, half day fishing. Come back to the harbour of Piombino at about 1AM.
Attention... we never sleep!
This exit is available into two different ways:
The first one nearby Elba Isle, night fishing in drifting with swordfish and daily (following morning) with giant tuna.
The second one instead in Vada, starting from Piombino, night fishing with light drifting
(especially sea carps, and big grigs), and daily always with the same techniques fishing (sea breams, bonitos, small tuna fish scombers and so on).
Exits longer than one day
It is possible to make exits of two, three and four days
Offer number 4 Exit of two days
Capraia and Corsica with techniques of deep line fishing. First day dedicated to deep line fishing.
During the night you will sleep in the Corsica harbour. Second day dedicated to the open sea fishing. Meals and stays on board.
Offer number 5
Various fishing techniques on three days, starting from Piombino.
In this case, due to line fishing, the use of the oil should be paid by the customer according to the consumption.
Number of people on board
This number is a very particular matter and of course it depends of the number of the exits, on the technique used and on the kind of “crew”.
For the half day exits or daily exits, where all people fish, the ideal number is 4/5 people.
For daily exits with particular fishing techniques, the number can even reach 6.

April/May
Location: In Vada (more or less 1hour and a half sailing)
Fish: scombers, bonitos and stone basses.
Techniques: light drifting and tuna drifting.
In 2007 a 158 kilos tuna has been fished!
June/July
Location. Corsica
Techniques: tuna drifting and line fishing in the open sea
July/August
Tuna drifting
Half August/November
Techniques: light drifting
Fish: bonitos, small tuna fish, sea breams.
In 2007 a 8 kilos sea bream has been fished!
